Metric Measurements in Britain

Britain should go fully metric.

Metric measurements should be used in full across Britain as soon as possible. We should change, not because Brussels demands it (although they don’t anymore), but because the British see the sense in the reform.

Several generations of school students have now learnt metric measurements, and the current mixture of imperial and metric measurements creates a completely unnecessary muddle. It’s a sad day when serious people think that Britishness is somehow dependent on retaining an outdated and illogical system for counting height, weight and volume.
